How do we start designing a PBL?
According to VERGARA RAMÍREZ you need to have the following points in mind when creating a PBL:
The opportunity
-
Do projects only develop spontanously from students' innicaiative?
-
Can I plan a project in advance?
-
How do I know if I can work on important contents for my subject in my project?
The intention
-
What can be the trigger for a group to tackle a project?
-
What do I have to do for a student to accept a project and engage with it?
-
Which tools can I use for my project?

Planning a PBL
Step 1: Try to connect the occasion with the students.
Step 2: Be sure that the opportunity you have chosen answers to a specific interest in your students.
Step 3: Be sure that the project allows students to have social relevance.
Step 4: Your students have to feel that they can be part and participate in the project not only as receivers but as creators of content.
Step 5: Use different channels to share information: video, audio, text, images, places. The information travels through different channels. It is not one-directional, not only verbal.
Step 6: Include elements of games as a proper value. GAMIFY!
Step 7: Include the rational, relational, emotional and kinesthetic dimensions of learning.
